Free Local Bus Travel on Harrogate Car Free Day!

The 24th of September 2008 will be the first
Harrogate Car Free Day.

On that date, we hope that as many people as possible will try their hardest to use some other means of getting about town than their car.

So, whether you’re going to work, school or the shops, or visiting Harrogate from elsewhere, please support Harrogate Car Free Day and leave your car at home.

Harrogate Car Free Day is being organised by a group of local people and and is linked with European Mobility Week. The aim is to highlight the problems caused by traffic congestion and show how alternatives to using the car are not just better for the environment, but more fun, more economical, and healthier...

For further information on the day visit their website at www.harrogatecarfreeday.com
